Leah Kaiser, Senior Consultant

Leah Kaiser is a consultant in the nonprofit sector with 20+ years of experience working with nonprofit groups in the arts, education, and social servicefields to research and strategize fundraising opportunities, write grant proposals and capital campaign case statements, and develop annual fundraising plans. She has a broad understanding of Chicago’s cultural institutions, having reviewed grant requests for the MacArthur Fund for Arts and Culture at Prince Charitable Trusts from the program’s inception in 2003 through its conclusion in 2022. In the 1990s, she was Associate Director of Development at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago during the organization’s campaign for a permanent facility, repertoire expansion, and an endowment. Kaiser has served as President of the Board of Danceworks Chicago, and serves on the board of a private foundation that strives to reduce intergenerational poverty by investing in early childhood education and related family support initiatives. She received her A.B. in English from Harvard University.
